Registration
Troop Checklist:
- One Troop Check written to GSWNY.
- Please note that registration is now $12 per person (adults and girls)
- You do not need to complete a separate Membership Dues Summary for brand new Girl Scouts.
- There is no need to complete a new Girl Registration or Adult Registration unless they are brand new members.
- Early Bird Patches are $1 for adults and free for girls. If an adult would like to have a patch, please give the registrar a separate check written to GSWNY or cash. Turn in with Early Patch form.
Girl Registration
- Verify that the pink registration roster includes all of the girls currently in the troop. If a girl is missing, please have the parent complete a Girl Registration Form.
- The parent should check the pink registration roster information for their daughter. The parent should complete the information for School, Grade, and Email, and sign the form.
- If the girl’s Guardian Information (new step dad, divorce, etc.) has changed, please check the Guardian Changes box on the pink registration roster and put the new Guardian Information in the Notes section. Guardian Information includes Name, Address, Cell Phone, Work Phone, Email, Occupation, and Employer.
Adult Registration
- Verify that the pink registration roster includes all of the adults currently in the troop. If an adult is missing, please have them complete an Adult Registration Form.
- The adult should check their pink registration roster information. The adult should complete the information for Cell Phone, Position Code, and Family Email, and sign the form.
- The Position Codes are: 01 Leader/Advisor, 02 Assistant Leader/Advisor, 03 Troop Committee Member, 03 Troop Volunteer, 11 Service Unit Team Member, SUM Service Unit Manager, SUPS Service Unit Sale Manager, 22 Council Staff.
- Put all of the council codes for all of the troops you are involved with on your Adult Registration Form or the Roster. If you are involved with more than one troop, you only need to pay your $12 once. You only need to be listed on one pink registration roster.
S.H.A.R.E.
- Share stands for “Show Her a Real Experience”.
- Council has asked each leader to discuss philanthropy and the importance of giving with their troops.
- A Family who donates $15 will receive a SHARE patch for each girl in the family. Write the names of the girls in the “Notes” section on the Roster.
- A Troop who donates $25 will receive a SHARE patch for each girl in the troop.
